Here is an image taken down in Dysart Harbour, just down from where I live. It's a hull of a yawl that's being restored. There are some really beautfully restored ones in the water at the moment. A guy the the sailing club told me it was a yawl and it took a few attempts before I understood him (I'm English, he's a Fifer). Yawl comes from the Dutch 'Jol' which makes sense as Dysart used to be an important trading post with the Netherlands from the 16th to 18th Centuries. There was one for sale a few months ago. One day...one day...
